For Veridian Technologies, no idea is too out of reach. From suicidal turkeys to edible steel, they can do it all. As the head of the research and development department, Ted Crisp (Jay Harrington) loves every day on the job. He loves his boss, Veronica (Portia de Rossi); loves working with colleagues Lem (Malcolm Barrett), Phil (Jonathan Slavin) and Linda (Andrea Anders); and loves turning the impossible into the plausible. But with his job come hazy ethical boundaries. As Ted always says: "Work's not a question of right or wrong. It's only about success or failure." Luckily for Ted, he has his daughter Rose (Isabella Acres) to keep him in line, but it's not easy being a single dad and taking ideas one could only dream of and making them a reality.
